Snickers came to the S.P.A. on March 16, 2020 when she was about 1-1/2 years old. Apparently abandoned, she was stretched out on top of an empty food bag in the field next to the S.P.A. When we talked to her from the sidewalk above, she wagged her tail, so we worked our way down to save her. She immediately snuggled when lifted off the bag. It turns out she had a broken knee which required complicated, expensive surgery. We were lucky that a donor agreed to cover the cost. She is fully recovered now.
Snickers is a very happy, friendly, affectionate small dog with a constantly wagging tail.
Meet Snickers at the S.P.A., any day, Monday through Saturday, between 11 and 2.
