Güera is a love. She looks at you with these kind, gentle, and vulnerable eyes. She has a funny habit of running around in circles to get your attention, but when she has it, she starts jumping in excitement. She’ll happily sit and, if that’s not enough, lie down so you can put a leash on her. A belly rub is okay with her, too. She’s a little shy and sometimes afraid to meet someone new which is probably the reason she has been overlooked. She has been at the S.P.A. since December 29, 2009 – the longest dog-resident. She was about 2 years old when she arrived. Give her a chance and you won’t be disappointed. It is incredibly rewarding when she decides she’s going to trust you. She doesn’t hold back at all. Small/medium-sized, Güera (which means “blond”) is ready for her forever home!
Spend some time with Güera at the S.P.A., any day Monday-Saturday, between 11 and 2.
